Provo's Farmers Market starts Saturday!

Visitors to the market will be able to find eggs from small-scale chicken farms, a variety of gourmet greens and herbs from organic farmers, asparagus, watercress, herb, green onions, seedlings to transplant in their own gardens, and goat yogurt, artisan cheeses, and honey. People will of course also find their staple tamales, pastries, gourmet steak tacos, and fruit smoothies, as well as home made soaps, salves and other goods.

To celebrate spring and the coming of summer visitors will see a Native American Hoop Dance, and are invited to jump into step with the Maypole Queen of the East Coast and Provo local, Barbara Luke.

So come to the market for your fresh produce and stay for the fun!

Will the farmer's market be canceled this morning due to rain?

Beth, I just got this comment... You can count on Provo's Farmers Market to go on rain, snow or shine! Today we even had people dancing around the maypole in the downpour!
